School Notice (10/26/08 school open)

Dear Parents,

1. The school will open this Sunday, Oct 26th, 2008.

2. Our new school By-law is now ready for all members' voting and approval. The parents meeting will be held on this Sunday Oct 26, 2008. All parents, please come on time! Please check here for the new school By-law, here is the schedule,

9:40-10:00 The school joint executive committee explains the new By-law
10:00-11:10 Voting (closes at 11:10 am)
11:10-12:30 Counting and recording

3. In order to raise the interest for our students to learn Chinese, our school from grade one to grade four will have a writing contest on 11/9, all parents please contact the teacher for details.

4. Middle-term exam is coming soon (11/2), all grades that have more than two classes will have uniform test.

5. Halloween is coming soon, our kids can wear costume to school this Sunday.

6. Special notice: All parents and students should respect school property, especially the piano in the lounge, and shouldn't encourage kids to play on the piano. Playing piano there will not only leave bad impressions to the high school officials (we were warned before on this issue), but also can cause disruption in teaching and learning since the sound travels very far. Please practice piano at home! Violators will be fined.

7. Special notice, parents and students are not allowed to stay in the hallway or outside of the class room, to avoid disrupting teachers and impacting quality of teaching. For students who don't have class for the 2nd section, please go to room# 214.
