School Notice (3/1/09 school open)

Dear Parents,

1. The school will open this Sunday, March 1st, 2009,

2. To prepare for 2009 Huaxia Debate Contest, our school will hold one debate preliminary on 3/15, the subject is, surfing the internet often helps study, hope all students at grade 5 above actively participate.

3. Congratulations to our school students (张芷榛,林沁夷 and 左菲娅) who won the second prize in 2009 Huaxia Reading Contest, and six students (刘宇璇,陈玲,邱子欣,仝清源,Mattew Hernandez and Snow Skyler) who won the third prize.

4. Dance class notice: due to overwhelming popularity of Latin dance over Ballroom dance, the school has decided to cancel the Ballroom dance and replace it with Latin dance. Therefore, Latin dance is now offered twice on Sunday at 10:20 and 11:20 respectively. Classes are held at GYM. Maximum size is 16 students per class. Registered but not paid will NOT hold your spot for the class. So please bring a check of $60 (payable to Hua Xia Chinese School At Bergen) on Sunday (3/1) before class starts to finalize your registration. No tryouts permitted as the teacher already gave a free demo lesson on 2/8.
