Huaxia Bergen School Notice (School Open on 03/22/2015)
Dear Parents,
1. Chinese school will be open on March 22 , 2015.
2. Registration for the Spring 2015 semester continues. Please go to our school website www.hxbg.org to register online. New Online payment system has been set up and is available now. Please check the link and follow the guideline. Those families who have registered for one school year in Fall do not need to register again.
3. Chinese class observation will be on this Sunday. Parents are encouraged to participate in your child's class.
4. HSK4 was held on last Sunday at Huaxia Chinese School of Greater New York in White Plains. 26 students participated in the exam. Please see the report.

5. 2015 Metlife - Huaxia Track & Field Games will be held at Plainsboro High School on Sunday, May 3rd. It will be a great time for us to build up our strength and make friends. Wei Han will be leading our team, please contact him at whan48@yahoo.com if parents or students are interested. Please see the details.

6. There will be a Yu's Elite Education seminar in room #133 from 9:30am to 1:00PM.
Dr.Yu's Elite Education will conduct a seminar focuses on how to build your child's personality and characteristics through academic enrichment and competition.
7. There are nine board members (Board of Directors) in our Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen, Inc. Three board members will retire and we need to elect three new board members this year.
According to our school bylaw, the eligibility for electing new board members are:
Member: a. student over age 18 who is registered in a minimum of one class per semester.
b. parent, legal guardian or grandparent of a student under age 18
who is registered in a minimum of one class per semester.
c. administrative staff member, current teacher, program coach.
Non-member: interested in promoting Chinese education. Such individual shall be nominated
for election to the Board by the incumbent Board of Directors.
We prefer someone who has two year experiences of teaching or working or volunteering in our school. If you wish to apply for or you know someone who is a good candidate, Please send us a brief message about the nominee qualifications. The deadline for nomination is March 27, 2015.
