School Notice (9/16/2007 school open at 10:00am)
Dear Parents,
1.The school will open on this Sunday, Sep 16, 10:00am 2007.
2. 2006-2007 school year graduation honor certificates were already received from headquarter, students and parents, please come to cafeteria at 10:00am to take it.
3. Bergen County Academies 5th Annual Math Competition will be held on Sunday,Oct 21st,2007 from 10am to 2pm. If interested, please check website:

4. Moon Festival activities will be held from 10:30 AM to 4:00PM on September 23rd, 2007 at the Ross Dock of Palisade Interstate Park in NJ. Below are the details:
All Participants take their own safety liability and responsibility.
Where: Palisade Interstate Park at Ross Dock
When: From 10:30 AM to 4:00PM, September 23rd, 2007
Who: Our school registered students and immediate family members.
Activities: Picnic, Hiking, Biking, Magic show and Balloons Fun
Fee: Adult $5/person, Children $2/person
Registration: School cafeteria on Sept. 16th,

We will provide lunch and beverages. Vegetarians should specify during registration. Moon cakes, and various snacks will be available at picnic area.
Since it is a very scenic area with a few trails, we encourage parents take their children hiking after picnic. The first 50 children who finish hiking will get a gift card as an award. We suggest parents take a backpack with beverages and snacks during hiking and biking.
Volunteers are needed on the picnic day. Please contact QingQing and Lilian at above number if you would like to offer help.

5. In order to promote Chinese traditional culture and Chinese Chess (Xiangqi) game, HX Edison school and NJ Chinese Chess (Xiangqi) Association will co-sponsor the first ever New Jersey Chinese Chess (Xiangqi) Tournament in early November. This tournament is open to all Chinese in New Jersey, particularly the children, parents and grandparents in HX schools, regardless of age and level of play. The details are described in the docs,
