Huaxia Bergen Chinese School Notice (7/27/2020)
各位家长们，老师们，暑期过半，希望大家都安好！
今年夏天是一段特殊的时段，因为疫情我们困足在家，但我们华夏博根分校的老师们克服很多困难成功组织了首次暑期班，孩子们在暑期班里上中文课巩固和拓展中文知识；学习和提高绘画水平；在网上与老师和朋友们学习和切磋棋艺；利用暑假学习和加强数学知识的积累。暑期班很快就要结束，相信孩子们会收获满满！
六月份，HSK首次网络考试紧锣密鼓地推出，学校克服重重困难组织了我校毕业生参加考试，并派出老师参加了此次考试的网络监考任务，我校毕业班的五名同学战胜了时间紧技术问题多的阻碍，全部顺利通过考试。另外，跟据目前收到的中文AP考试成绩信息，AP班里的8名同学都在今年的AP中文考试中取得了5分的好成绩。祝贺这些同学们！也感谢为了他们的成长默默奉献和支持的老师们和家长们！
九月份，我们即将迎来新的2020-2021学年，与以往不同的是我们正处于一个情况复杂的困难时期，但是我们还是要继续为孩子们提供学习中文，学习各种文化知识的有效的方式与途径。华夏博根中文学校管理团队正在积极地筹划9月学校重新开放的模式，以及各种可能发生的变化而做充分的准备工作，我们现在面临的是最复杂的挑战。健康和安全与学生学习和成长之间的平衡，我们会请老师收集您的意见和孩子的需求，尽可能地尽快做出合理有效的开学开课方案的。
最后，也是最重要的，感谢所有华夏博根中文学校的家长们对学校工作一直以来的大力支持和鼓励！请继续支持和帮助我们，大家齐心协力共同把我们这博根郡最大的华人社区发展壮大下去！

Dear parents and teachers,
At the moment of midsummer, hope everyone is doing well!
We are experiencing a period of special time, this summer we have been staying home due to pandemic, however our teachers at Huaxia Bergen Chinese School (HXBG) are making great efforts to organize the on line summer program successfully first time. The children take Chinese classes to consolidate and expand their knowledge of Chinese; learn and improve the painting skills; learn and practice chess with teachers and friends; study and strengthen the accumulation of mathematical knowledge. The summer program will end soon. It is certain that the children will be full of harvest!
In June online HSK exam was launched first time. HXBG successfully organized the graduates to take the exam. In the mean while some teachers finished the training and participated in the invigilation exam. Five students from graduating class successfully passed the exam. In addition, according to the AP Chinese scores received so far, 8 students in AP class have achieved 5 points in AP Chinese test. Congratulations to the students! Thanks also to the teachers and parents for their dedication and support!
In September HXBG will open for 2020-2021 school year. Unlike the past, we are going through a very difficult time, but we will continue providing effective ways and means for our students to study Chinese. We are taking consideration of health, safety, learning and growth of our students. Teachers will collect your opinions and students’ needs. The HXBG Management Team is actively planning for the reopening and will make an effective and safe school opening plan as soon as possible.
Thanks to all parents and teachers of HXBG for your great support and encouragement. Please continue to support and help our school, and we work together to make our largest Chinese community in Bergen County stronger!
