Huaxia Bergen Chinese School Notice (Online Class Open on 3/7/2021)
Dear Parents,
1. 温馨提示： 根据学校2020-2021校历，本周日（3/7/2021）我们华夏博根中文学校正常上网课。
2. 华夏总校将于2021年6月5日举办第二届“华夏杯”网上中华知识竞赛，主旨在于激发学生对于中文的兴趣，增强学生与祖籍国的感情联系，通过竞赛加深了解中华文化知识。本次竞赛分4-6和7-9年级两个组别，年级报名根据学生目前在中文学校的年级. 竞赛组织规则和竞赛复习题目，请向学生中文课老师领取。请学生和家长点击下面链接报名，我校报名截止日期是5月20日12pm。

博根分校参加本次总校比赛4-6年级和7-9年级两个组别各有6个名额. 如果报名人数过多，我们将在5月22日上午10-11点（4-6年级）和11:30-12:30点（7-9年级）举行校内竞赛，具体细节随后通知。
3. The board of directors approved “Huaxia Chinese School at Bergen (HXBG) 2021 Board Director Election Guidelines” and proceeded in accordance with the following timetable:
1) February 28 – March 27, 2021 at 11:59pm . - Nomination period and deadline for BD
2) April 4, 2021 - Board meeting to introduce the BD candidates to the general membership, Self-introduction and Q&A.
3) April 17-18, 2021 - BD election and results.
4) April 18– May 2, 2021 at 11:59pm. - Nomination period and deadline for Board Officers.
5) May 16, 2021 - Board meeting: election of Board Officers.

Dear Parents,
1. Reminder: According to the school's 2020-2021 school calendar, this Sunday (3/7/2021) our Huaxia Bergen Chinese School will have normal online classes.
2. Huaxia Headquarters will hold the second "Huaxia Cup" online Chinese knowledge competition on June 5, 2021. The main purpose is to stimulate students' interest in Chinese, enhance the emotional connection between students and their home country, and deepen their understanding of Chinese culture through the competition. The competition is divided into two groups, 4-6 and 7-9. The grade registration is based on the students' current grades in the Chinese school. The competition organization rules and competition review questions can be obtained from the students' Chinese teacher. Please click the link below to register for students and parents. The deadline for registration of our school is May 20th at 12pm.

Bergen will participate in the main school competition for 4-6 grades and 7-9 grades. There are 6 places each. If there are too many applicants, we will hold our own school competition at 10-11 am (4-6 Grades) and 11:30-12:30 (grades 7-9) on May 22, the specific details will be announced later.
