Huaxia Bergen Chinese School Notice (School Open on 10/08/2023)

Dear Parents,

1、10月8日（周日）校历第四周，华夏博根全体工作人员和老师们在熟悉的校园等着你！

2、2023-2024学年度秋季注册还在继续，中文课程设计专业系统，文体课程丰富多样，适合各年龄段学生，欢迎大家继续报名！https://www.hxbg.org/onlineregistration/

3、华夏中文学校田径运动会于10月22日(星期天)8:00am-5:00pm在Oak Ridge Park, NJ 举行。报名截止日期是本周日10月8日。请老师、家长、同学们抓紧最后时间报名。具体说明请参见报名通知。

4、根据学校教学要求，家长将孩子送到教室门口后，请不要在教室里多作停留。为保证课堂教学质量和教学效果，请家长不要坐到教室里，除非任课教师许可。

5、应家长要求，经与PCHS协商今年同意将North cafeteria租给我们，并允许开放cafeteria 给家长停留，因此希望家长们能够遵守学校规定，在上课时间不要在走廊、Lobby等区域逗留、聊天喧哗，请移步到cafeteria 以免影响教学秩序。谢谢大家配合！

喜报： 义工是奉献时间和服务社会的体现。学校工作的顺利实施离不开志愿者的积极参与。在我们学校活跃着一支学生义工队伍，他们的努力工作一方面可以锻炼他们的协调能力，另一方面通过帮助他人，成长自己。在2022 －23学年中，我们共有12位学生义工获得总统义工奖，其中金奖1名，铜奖11名。请以下同学本周日上午11点10分到North Cafeteria 领取奖状，

Dear Parents,

1. October 8 (Sunday) is the fourth week of the academic calendar. All the staff and teachers are eagerly looking forward to meeting you on the campus!

2. Registration for the fall of the 2023-2024 academic year is still ongoing. The Chinese curriculum is professionally designed and systematic, and the cultural and sports courses are rich and diverse, suitable for students of all ages. Everyone is welcome to register: https://www.hxbg.org/onlineregistration/.

3. The Huaxia Chinese School Track and Field Games will be held on October 22 (Sunday) from 8:00am to 5:00pm in Oak Ridge Park, NJ. The deadline for registration is this Sunday, October 8th. Teachers, parents, and students - please hurry up and register it as soon as possible. Please see the registration notice for specific instructions.

4. As per the school teaching requirements, parents please do not stay in the classroom for too long time after sending their children to the classroom. To ensure the quality and effectiveness of the classroom teaching, parents are asked not to sit in the classroom unless you are permitted by the teacher.

5. As per the request of parents, the North cafeteria has been rented for parents’ stay on the school day. Please take advantage of the cafeteria room. Please refrain from chatting and making noise in the corridors, lobby during school hours. Thank you for your cooperation!

Good news: Volunteering is the embodiment of donating time and serving the society. The smooth implementation of school activities is inseparable from the active participation of volunteers. We have an active team of student volunteers in our school. They work very hard to help others, and meanwhile they build and grow their coordination skills as well. In the 2022-23 school year, a total of 12 student volunteers received the Presidential Volunteer Award, including 1 gold award and 11 bronze awards. The below students are asked to come to North Cafeteria at 11:10 am this Sunday to receive their certificates:
