1、2025 华夏总校辩论比赛--博根报名通知：
2025年总校辩论比赛将于4月底举行，华夏所有分校即将分赴二个区参加本次大赛。这是继华夏演讲朗诵比赛后的又一次全总校性的教学交流活动，请鼓励同学们积极参与此次比赛。辩论比赛报名面向中文四年级以上到AP中文班的学生。
低年级组辩论题目：（4 - 6 年级）
正方: 家养宠物对小学生的生活和成长利大于弊
反方: 家养宠物对小学生的生活和成长弊大于利

高年级组辩论题目：（7 年级以上）
正方: 中学校园內应禁止学生使用社交软件*
反方: 中学校园內不应禁止学生使用社交软件*
* 社交软件 (Social Media APP)应包含Instagram, TikTok, Facebook 等类似功能的社交软件，不应包含MS team等用于辅助教学及交流合作的应用软件。

总校今年聘请纵横讲员在线对本届辩论队队员、指导老师及家长进行赛前辩论基本功培训。详情如下：

2、🏓🏓春季新增课程——乒乓球兴趣班继续招生，注册请登录学校网站Welcome to HXBG Online Registration。已过四级周课程，球馆将会协商make up。

‼️ 中文学校与Paramus Catholic High School 在使用学校facility 是有合同要求，我们只能使用合同中指定的教室和公共设施，希望全体人员严格遵守规定。任何教师和个人不能擅自使用合同外未经许可的场地，由此所产生的问题和费用将由使用人员自行承担。

‼️根据学校害虫防护的要求，🈲️严禁将购买的餐食带到教室中食用，只允许在cafeteria 和lobby 食用。请大家认真执行，也请各班老师和班爸（妈）协助监督。

为保障学校的教学秩序，请家长们在上课期间不要在走廊聊天喧哗，移步到cafeteria 休息。谢谢配合！

1. 2025 Huaxia General School Debate Competition - Bergen Registration Notice:
The 2025 Main School Debate Competition will be held at the end of April, and all Huaxia branch schools will soon be divided into two districts to participate in this competition. Please encourage your students to actively participate in this event, which will be the next major school-wide educational exchange following Huaxia Speech and Recitation Contest. Registration for the debate competition is open to students in fourth grade Chinese and above through AP Chinese classes.
Lower Division Debate Topics: (Grades 4 - 6)
Pro: Having a pet at home can do more good than harm to the life and development of elementary school students.
Counter: Pets can do more harm than good to the lives and development of elementary school students.

Senior Group Debate Topic: (Grades 7 and above)
Pro: Students should be prohibited from using social software in secondary schools*.
Counter: Students should not be banned from using social media programs in secondary schools.
* Social Media APP should include Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social software with similar functions, but should not include MS team and other applications that are used to support teaching and learning, as well as communication and collaboration.

The main school has hired Vertical Speakers Online this year to provide pre-tournament debate fundamentals training to current debate team members, instructors and parents. Details are as follows:

‼️ Chinese School and Paramus Catholic High School have a contractual requirement for the use of school facilities. We can only use the classrooms and public facilities designated in the contract, and we hope that all staff will strictly abide by the regulations. No teacher or individual may use unauthorized space outside of the contract without authorization, and any problems or costs incurred will be the sole responsibility of the person using the space.

‼️ In accordance with the school's pest protection requirements, 🈲️ purchased meals are strictly prohibited from being brought into the classroom for consumption and are only permitted at cafeteria and lobby. Please take this seriously and ask your classroom teachers and class dads (moms) to help monitor this.

For the sake of the school's order, parents are requested to refrain from chatting and clamoring in the corridors and move to the cafeteria for a break during the school day. Thank you for your cooperation!
